Ah, wow. I sometimes REALLY forget to journal, don’t I? Nothing’s really been going on, though.
We did have a little scare when Deidra cut herself pretty badly on something while she was outside, but it wasn’t as bad as it looked. She’s got a few stitches, and she really likes to bother her wounds, so she’s gotta wear a doggie t-shirt ‘til she’s better. I’ve gotta keep an eye on her, but she should be fine.

I think I’m just gonna focus on finishing up the fursuit I’ve been working on and getting that shipped off; nothing eventful should be happening for a while, as long as Dee doesn’t hurt herself again.

1) Learn how to organize. Or at least label boxes.
2) Remember to eat more than once or twice a day. I swear I should set a timer.
3) Don’t think about Emma so much. She’s gone and it hurts but it’s over.
4) Call Momma up and see how she’s doing. She doesn’t have anyone left now that Dad’s gone.
5) STOP spending so much extra on fursuits. It doesn’t need that extra ‘wow!’
6) Go into town more. Animals are not good conversation.

I woke up this morning and Alcatraz was gone. So was the coat I bought him, and the stuff he carries around, so I’m assuming he just headed off wherever he goes when he’s not hanging out here.

Emma called sometime around noon! We talked while she was here for the holidays and she’s getting a computer, so hopefully we can stay in touch more and I can get more time with Terry- even if it’s through a computer screen.

Alcatraz came by yesterday. He’s a vampire, and he’s visited before, but winter is a little hard on him; all the snow kind of concentrates the effects of the sun, and he hasn’t had a stable place to stay in a while. I’m so glad that he didn’t show up while Emma and Terry were here; he’s a great guy, but he’s little rough when he’s malnourished and Emma isn’t a big fan of vampires. I’ve been letting him snack on me, and later I’m gonna get him a big coat so he can get moving some more. He’s a great guy, but I have to get out of here before he decides to eat all my pets.

Emma and Terry visited for Christmas! It was great to see them, although it was a little uncomfortable to see Emma again. Terry and Deidra became fast friends and had a blast exploring the forest with Emma. The ferrets warmed right up but Mr. Maowpants was freaked out the whole time.

I made Terry a giant wolf plushie and I got Emma a necklace that will hopefully help with her transformation pains.

Terry was really excited to try on Sheila the Skulldog and Emma surprised me by letting them. It really sucked to say goodbye to them, but Emma wanted to get somewhere before the next Moon.
